Welcome!
local international promotes sustainability and fair production methods in the fashion industry. The fourth edition of the international academic exchange project put a focus on local crafts, co-design and social entrepreneurship.
Since May, 20 participants from Bangladesh and Germany worked under unusual conditions in a virtual study room; challenged by the Covid-19 crisis and the restrictions of life in the summer of 2020.
Instead of study trips and on site excursions, a web-based semester with virtual company visits, online seminars and practice-oriented digital workshops was offered. The participants were given a thorough view into sustainable design strategies, craft production methods and topics such as social design, in order to develop their own creative concepts, products and collections in the further course of the project.
We are very pleased to welcome you to the exhibition of our project results and we are tremendously proud to have made it to the finish line with so much joy and energy!
